      Code of Ethics
Exhibit ‘A’: Code of Ethics

By the DBA International, (Inc.,) that the following Code of Ethics be and the same is hereby made a part of the Bylaws of this Association, and the same shall be binding upon the members of this Association in the conduct of business, and upon the officers of the Association and the Ethics Committee for the purpose of determining the rights and responsibilities of the members of this Association.

The Ethics Committee shall have full power in case of complaint against a member of this Association for violation of this code. Said member shall have the right to present a defense to the Committee. Any member of DBA International, Inc., who shall be found guilty on a charge of violating the Code of Ethics, in the judgment of the Ethics Committee, shall, within the judgment and discretion of said committee or a majority thereof, be expelled, suspended, placed on probation or reprimanded as may seem just to the Committee. A majority vote of the officers present at such meeting shall be conclusive and final.

By this Code of Ethics, each member of this Association is firmly bound, in that each member shall:
1. Maintain a high standard of business principles and never knowingly be guilty of conduct which will bring reproach upon this Association.
2. Abide by the Association’s Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, Code of Operations, and such other policies as may be adopted by the Board of Directors.
3. Comply with the intent of the Federal Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or any more stringent law within the area being serviced.
4. Insure that all personnel are familiar with the laws under which the business is conducted, the Rules and Regulations and Code of Ethics of this Association, and that they fully respond to and comply with them.
5. Not discriminate on grounds of race, color, creed, sex or national origin with the opportunity of colleagues and competitors to become members of and to participate in the affairs of this Association.
6. Maintain a sufficiently strong financial position to reasonably assure the firm’s continued operation.
7. Limit the use of the name and emblem of the DBA International, Inc., to only the corporation or entity for which membership is in effect.
8. Always protect the interests of the clients and give prompt and diligent attention to all matters received.
9. Not knowingly misrepresent qualifications, capacity, experience and abilities.
10. Adhere to all terms of a contract or agreement unless these terms have been legally terminated, falsely represented, or substantially altered by unilateral action of the other party to the contract.
11. Compete in a fair and honorable manner, never publicly attacking the reputation of a competitor.
13. Avoid deceptive practices, statements, or materials which would deceive consumers.
